DAVIDSON COUNTY, NC - A crash brought on by excessive speeding killed two people in Davidson County early Tuesday morning. Investigators said the car drove through multiple yards before colliding with a parked car, a tree and finally a house.

Troopers say driver Devin Martin, 27, was estimated to be going 110 miles per hour when crossed over a center line and went onto a driveway culvert before going into a second and eventually a third yard. Martin then hit a parked car in the driveway of the third yard, causing their car to roll over, hit a tree and the porch of a home on the 1800 block of Hickory Tree Road.

NC Highway Patrol says both in the car weren't wearing seatbelts and were ejected.The impact killed Martin and 25-year-old passenger Danielle LeLeux.

The crash happened around 3:10 a.m.

Highway Patrol say alcohol was found at the scene.

Charges won't be filed and the victims' names haven't been released.
