GREENSBORO, N.C. - By now, you've probably heard President Donald Trump is coming to Greensboro for a private fundraiser Saturday. 2 Wants To Know has learned it will be at the house of Louis Dejoy and Aldona Wos. Dejoy is a local businessman and major republican party donor. His wife, Wos, is perhaps best known for her public service in North Carolina under former governor Pat McCrory.

2 Wants To Know viewers are well aware of who Aldona Wos is. She took over in 2012 as the agency was starting to implement the new NC FAST computer system. They wanted to use it to upgrade food stamps and Medicaid. But just a couple of months later, glitches from that new system caused huge backlogs and lines like this one - leaving thousands of families going hungry and wasting your tax dollars.

For the next year and a half the agency threw all it's resources at fixing the computer problems. It wasn't until April of 2014 that people started getting the food stamps they depend on without huge waits. In January 2015 Wos had to testify at an oversight hearing. She apologized for the agency sending 49,000 Medicaid cards with personal information to the wrong people. And in May an audit found one of her top workers paid herself more than $246,000 in overtime.

All that said, Wos has drug the agency into modern times with the new computer systems. She also leaves Medicaid with extra money in their bank account. And speaking of money: She's independently wealthy. And Wos chose to give up her salary - working for only $1 a year. She said the money would be better spent elsewhere in the agency.
