Blame It On 2WTK: Get It In Writing!

You just can't take someone's word for it. If a salesperson offers to waive a fee or not charge you for something, you better get it in writing. Tell them 2WTK said so!

Alright, let's talk money and contracts from businesses you go to like a an appliance store or a car dealership.

Recently, a driver was looking to turn her lease vehicle in and buy a car. The salesman told her they would waive the lease's $400 early termination fee. But after she bought the car and looked through the paperwork, she found the $400 was in the contract.

The driver called our Call For Action news partners in Phoenix. Their Call For Action volunteers remind us, "talk is cheap".

"It's always a good idea to get everything in writing and before you sign the papers, read what you're signing and remember."

The "get it in writing" rule isn't just for cars, it's for all money exchanges!
