They are the staples of Valentine's Day: chocolate and jewelry. But do you necessarily have to spend a lot of money on either to dazzle your Valentine?

CHOCOLATE

2WTK is doing a blind taste test on chocolate. Three pieces of chocolate, one each from Sam's Club $1.50 (Walmart Brand), Godiva $3.00 and Brooklyn Born Chocolate $3.50. Check us out live at 5:30pm on TV or on the WFMY News 2 Facebook page to see which one comes out on top.

JEWELRY

We bought a $20 pair of earrings and a $500 pair. In an hour's time, 8 people took the 2 Test to see if they could guess the real diamonds.

"Because they look shinier and there's more patterns on them and these look more dull."

"These are too clear. they are too sparkly."

Out of the 8, only 3 saw through the shine to spot the real thing. Most couldn't tell the difference. But here's the thing, it's okay for a girl to buy herself fake stuff, but if you're getting it for a present-- the real thing is a better choice--unless she picked out the fakes.
