2WTK had a little fun and used our Bitmoji’s to see what kind of Halloween costumes might be fun this year. If only costuming was always this easy and this cheap!

This year, people are expected to spend $3.4 billion dollars on costumes. So whether it's you, your child, or the dog - there are ways to save on Halloween costumes.

USA TODAY looked at costume saving strategies. The first recommendation-- stick to your list. It's kinda like not grocery shopping when you're hungry. Instead of throwing accessories into your cart that “could work”, have a specific list.

Second--expand your search. That cowboy hat in the Halloween section is much more expensive than the one you'll find in the accessories section of the store.

Also, pick a different version of the same character. Mix and match a few items instead of going with a put-together costume.
