Burlington Police are investigating a homicide after a 24-year-old woman was found shot and later died.
On Monday, police say Alamance County EMS responded to a shooting in the 600 block of Center Avenue. Officers found Mary Elizabeth McBroom, 24. They say McBroom had been shot. She died while being transported by EMS to the hospital.
