DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — In order to replace a pipe damaged during Hurricane Florence, part of a Davidson County road will close early next week.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation will close a portion of Cedar Springs Road near Denton at 7:00 a.m. on Monday.
The closure is scheduled to be in place until the afternoon of February 8.
Due to the closure, a signed detour will be in place, following N.C. 109, and Garner and Crousetown roads.
Drivers are urged to use caution around the work zone and to prepare for traffic delays along the detour route.
