GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Page High School football team received a thoughtful gesture from the Duke football team recently.
Duke sent Page a letter, offering condolences after the death of Sincere Davis.
Page coach Jared Rolfes tweeted a picture of the card, thanking Duke. The letter had several signatures at the bottom along with a photo of Davis.
'We were all deeply saddened to learn of the death of Sincere Davis. It is extremely difficult to process the death of such a vibrant and gifted young man.
Please know the Duke football team will keep Sincere's family and the Page Football family in our thoughts and prayers.'
