Former Alamance County Employee Charged After Changing Her Pay Stub To Get Car Loan: Sheriff

GRAHAM, N.C. — A former Alamance County employee forged her pay stub to show she made more money than she actually made according to the Alamance County Sheriff's Office. 

The Sheriff's office says Kimberly Theresa Dixon altered the check while trying to secure a car loan. Dixon told detectives she didn't know how the earning amounts were changed after admitting that they were incorrect. She showed the falsified stub to Burlington Auto Mart.

Dixon was trying to get a loan for a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe with the pay stub.

Dixon, 46, was charged with Obtaining Property by False Pretense and is scheduled to appear in Alamance County District Court Friday.
