Former UNC Basketball Star, P.J. Hairston, Wanted For Domestic Violence

Hairston, who played for Dudley High School, The UNC Tar Heels, and the Charlotte Hornerts is also yet to be served a domestic violence protective order that was filed on September 5th.

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. -- — GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. -- Former UNC basketball star, P.J. Hairston is wanted in Guilford County.

Court records show there is an arrest warrant out for Hairston for Assault on a Female. Hairston hasn't been located to be served yet, so the specifics of the warrant are not public record.

Hairston is also yet to be served a domestic violence protective order that was filed on September 5th.

That document states he is due in court on Monday, September 10.

We spoke briefly with the woman who filed the domestic violence charges agaisnt Hairston. She told WFMY News 2 she just wants him to be served "and for him to face the consequences of his actions."

Hairston attended Dudley High School in Greensboro for the first three years of his High School Career, and was a 5 star recruit for the Tar Heels.

Before his Junior season Hairston was suspended from the Tar Heels, and then bounced around the NBA Developmental League, and had a short stint with the Charlotte Hornets.
