Andrews High School Hosting Drumline Competition

The talented students want to earn the money by entertaining you at this week's drum line competition.

PIEDMONT TRIAD, NC-- A local band needs your help keeping the music alive but the Andrews High School Marching Band is not asking for a handout. The talented students want to earn the money by entertaining you at this week's drumline competition.

Money raised from admission tickets will be used to buy band uniforms and other necessities.

The inaugural "Red Smoove Classic" fundraiser is on Friday, April 29th at 7:00 PM at the school located at 1920 McGwinn Drive in High Point.

Organizers say people should expect:

-Some of the premier high school drumlines from throughout the East Coast competing for top percussion honors

-Exciting performances from several electrifying auxiliary groups

-High quality adjudication from collegiate percussion instructors

-Recruitment personnel from collegiate marching band programs

-and "Cold Steel" drumline from NC A&T State University will be in the building

Doors open at 6:30pm

Tickets are $8 in advance plus a $1.39 convenience fee. You can purchase them here.
