GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Here's your chance to see an award winning high school choir and support music arts in Guilford County Schools.

James B. Dudley High School is combining its dance, theater and chorus into one big concert to raise money for its performing arts department. Choral Director Rob Jarrell says you're in for a good time this Thursday night.

The concert supports Dudley High School's Performing Arts Programs, an underfunded part of the school system.

"Your donations will help us travel to competitions in the fall, provide transportation and music to our students." said Jarrell.

The Dudley High School Choir performed an original song written by local artists Duncan Butler Tuesday on the Good Morning Show. You can check out the performance by clicking on the video included in this story.

The James B. Dudley High School Performing Arts Department's spring concert is Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the school's auditorium. It's $2 or any larger donation is accepted. Again, all proceeds benefit performing arts for Dudley students.
