GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A group of Triad salons is giving cancer survivors an experience they will never forget. The Salon by JC locations in Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem are performing free services to make survivors feel like the amazing fighters they are!
All three locations are participating in the Hello Gorgeous! Red Carpet Makeovers with services including free hairstyles, makeup, manicures and pedicures, plus wardrobe, flowers and a free dinner out. It's part of the new partnership between Salon by JC and Hello Gorgeous. The non-profit does head to toe makeovers on women battling cancer.
The makeover is something Carrie Ricciuti and Jennifer Nealy are proud to take part in.
"It was amazing, our first survivor was totally surprised from the beginning. There were tears from everyone. It really made her day. She came in not feeling well, not looking well and she left with a smile," said Ricciuti.
The Greensboro location on Battleground Avenue just performed the salon's first Hello Gorgeous makeover this week and they're eager to begin the next experience. You can nominate a cancer survivor on the Hello Gorgeous website by clicking here. Donations are also accepted.
