KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper was in Kernersville Thursday to approve legislation designed to help the disabled.
"Some of the most impactful and inspirational people that I've ever known have been people with disabilities," Cooper said. "People who have made a difference in my life and made me a better person."
Cooper signed an executive order titled Employment First for North Carolinians with Disabilities.
"I believe with all of my heart that every single one of us has a purpose on God's earth," Cooper said. "Today, we're going to sign an Executive Order help people fulfill that purpose."
