It's a show that features stories around the country of others who have essentially just vanished. Roberts' episode laid out the circumstances of his disappearance, and interviewed those closest to him in an effort to find more information.

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. -- It's been more than two years since Martin Roberts disappeared from Boone.

The young man from Kernersville was 19 at the time. His case is now getting national attention.

While they don't know where he is, A television show recently focused on his disappearance which is
getting the family's plea, nationwide.

"I don't care why he left, I just want him to come home," said Kim Roberts, Martin's mother.

A mother, begging her son to come home on national TV.

Earlier this month, Martin Roberts' story aired on Investigation Discovery's show 'Disappeared.'

"If it shakes out a lead, or Martin sees it, it's worth it," said Roberts.

Missing for more than two years.

"It's everyday. You stop and think about it. Things remind me of him, and it's just so hard to go to work everyday, and be upbeat," said Roberts.

"Imagine two years without your predominate hand. Martin was the person I picked up the phone and called for everything," said Nikki Naylor, Martin's sister.

'Disappeared' tells the story of those who do just that. Vanish.

That's one of the hardest parts.

Martin's episode of Disappeared brought up all aspects of his life.

His love of soccer, some troubles such as dropping out of college in Boone, and how much those around him, love him.

"He's an awesome child. He's such a sweet, caring -- I just want him to come home," said Roberts.

Having her son's picture and name back in the headlines is a double edged sword.

Kim Roberts knows it's their best chance to find Martin, but it dredges up nothing but bad memories of the worst time of her life.

"It was very hard to relive that," said Roberts.

To bring her son home, this mom will do anything.

"It's just been the most horrible thing I could ever imagine. We just want it to end -- we want him to come home," said Roberts.
