DENTON, N.C. -- There’s nothing like a high school football game to bring the whole community together.

And tonight was all about the heroes that serve the community at the South Davidson High School football game. It was Military Appreciation Night!

Veterans and active military members got into the game for free.

During halftime, the veterans were honored by both teams.

The Wildcats took on the Dragons of West Davidson High School.
