MEBANE, NC -- A Haw River man convicted of kidnapping an 11-year-old girl from a bus stop in Mebane and raping her is sentenced to 92 years in prison, according to a post from the Alamance County District Attorney's Office.

Greg Overman, 41, plead guilty to Statutory Rape of a Child by an Adult, Statutory Sex Offense with a Child by an Adult and First-Degree Kidnapping. Investigators say he abducted the girl from a bus stop in Mebane in October 2016 and raped her.
