RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — A man accused of inappropriately touching a child under the age of 16 while he was staying at a friend's house has been extradited to Randolph County to face charges. 

Randolph County Sheriff's Deputies say Lonnie Dale Woods, 46, was brought to Randolph County Jail from Montgomery County Jail in Virginia on Thursday. 

Woods was served three outstanding warrants for probation violations and one warrant for felony indecent liberties with a minor, and misdemeanor sexual battery. 

Randolph County Deputies say the alleged abuse was reported to them in January. 

During the investigation, Woods left the county and headed for Virginia. He was arrested in Christianburg, VA on February 12. 

He's now in Randolph County Jail under no bond.
