MEBANE, N.C. — A third suspect in a February breaking and entering incident has turned himself in.
According to the Alamance County Sheriff Office, Zurich Jackson,25, turned himself in on Tuesday, March 5.
Jackson is being charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Damage to Property.
He is being held under a $5,000 bond.
On February 17, the Alamance County Sheriff's Office responded to a break-in on Mebane Rogers Road around 2:45 p.m.
The homeowner reported coming home to find a blue two-tone Chrysler Sebring in his driveway. As the homeowner pulled into his driveway, the suspicious vehicle sped off.
The sheriff's office says the homeowner walked through his front door, and saw two men jumping out of his back bedroom window. He immediately called 911 and gave a clothing description for both suspects.
While responding to the scene, deputies saw two suspects, who matched the homeowner's description, walking near Eastern High School.
Deputies arrested Antonio McAdams Jr. and Ireishia Donte Byrd. They are charged with felony breaking and entering and damage to property.
The men were each given $40,000 secured bonds.
