NC A&T Student Fighting For Life in Hospital After Hit By Car

Greensboro Police say Onnr Grogan tried to cross the street at a non-crosswalk location and was hit by an oncoming car.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A North Carolina A&T student is fighting for her life after she was hit by a car Tuesday morning. 

The accident happened around 8 a.m. in the area of East Market Street and Laurel Street. 

Greensboro Police say 21-year-old Onnr Grogan tried to cross the street at a non-crosswalk location and was hit by an oncoming vehicle. She is in critical condition at the hospital. 

Greensboro Police say evidence shows Ms. Grogan was not wearing headphones when she was hit. The Greensboro Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating.

Police say no one is expected to be charged in the crash.
