Winston-Salem, N.C. -- School's not out for Triad Medical Students. Wake Forest school of medicine students will soon start classes in a brand new building.

The Bowman Gray Center for Medical Education is in the Wake Forest Innovation Quarter in downtown Winston-Salem. Monday 130 students from all over the world will step inside the building.

Mary Claire O'Brien is the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. She told WFMY News 2 students will meet patients within the first week.

She said this will allow them to learn the patients stories, learn their illnesses.

The new building is 5 stories tall, cost $60M and includes high tech classrooms, patient rooms, labs and a gallery.
