Ralph Lauren to Move Some High Point Operations to Forsyth Co.; No Job Cuts Expected

Some of the employees will be relocated from its office and distribution center on Beechwood Drive, which is in the Piedmont Center Business Park, to a location on N.C. Highway 66 in Forsyth County.

HIGH POINT N.C. - The Ralph Lauren Corp. has said it will move some of its operations out of its Beechwood Drive campus in High Point by the end of the year.

The company is one of High Point's largest employers.

Some of the employees will be relocated from its office and distribution center on Beechwood Drive, which is in the Piedmont Center Business Park, to a location on N.C. Highway 66 in Forsyth County.

The location is in part of High Point.

The apparel maker said it doesn't plan to cut jobs.

"Given the progress we have made in matching inventory to consumer demand and leveraging state of the art technology in our facilities, we simply need less space. North Carolina remains an important hub for our business and we are committed to our operations and teams in the area."
