THOMASVILLE, N.C. — In order to help the homeless stay warm during the brutal winter season, one Greensboro artist came up with an extraordinary project.

The name for the project that Bobby Craddock came up with was the 'Scarves 4 Warmth' project.

The 'Scarves for 4 Warmth' project is an event where community members gather at a location and bring supplies to create homemade scarves for the homeless.

Saturday, local community members met at the T. Austin Finch Home on 17 E. Main Street in Thomasville for the great cause.

Since starting the project, Craddock has put together more than a dozen 'Scarves 4 Warmth' events around the area.
