GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Greensboro Police Department isn't releasing many details but the agency has confirmed an investigation has been launched into a sweepstakes business n West Market St.

Thursday morning officers executed a search warrant on AIA. A WFMY News 2 Photojournalist was there as officers removed machines, computers and other equipment from inside the business. 

A Greensboro police spokesperson said the case is an ongoing investigation and they won't be releasing many details at the moment.

Police confirmed AIA, located at 4639-A on W. Market St., is a sweepstakes style business.

No one was charged Thursdy, however police say charges are pending.
