GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. (WFMY) -- Guilford County has now lifted its State of Emergency for Guilford County.
That's after it was previously issued on Sunday due to significant snowfall and ice accumulations with the winter storm. Other factors that went into the decision to issue the state of emergency included icy roads and power outages.
The county said the grid power has now been restored while snow removal continues across the area.
Governor Roy Cooper issued a State of Emergency for all 100 counties in the state before the winter storm hit.
