Winston-Salem Police Looking for Dodge Charger Involved in Hit-and-Run That Seriously Hurt Student

Police say Joshua Codell Tribble was hit by a car in Winston-Salem Sunday night.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools student was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car almost two weeks ago. Now, police are asking for your help in identifying the driver of a car caught on security cameras. 

Winston-Salem Police say they're looking for a white 2006 to 2010 model Dodge Charger that has black wheels, dark tinted windows, and a police-type spotlight.

Police say Joshua Codell Tribble, 17 was hit in the 1000 block of Cleveland Avenue Sunday night around 7:47 p.m.

A driver traveling in a White Dodge Charger was heading north on Cleveland Avenue when they hit Tribble while he was crossing the street according to police. The driver didn't stop after hitting him. Tribble sustained serious injuries. Tribble is at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where he's in critical condition.

An investigation is ongoing and police are looking for the driver.
