GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro officials and North Carolina Folk Festival organizers announced TowneBank as the festival's presenting sponsor Tuesday.
Amy Grossmann, Director of the N.C. Folk Festival, Greensboro Mayor Nancy Vaughan, TowneBank North Carolina President Matt Davis and TowneBank Triad President Scott Baker all spoke at the news conference.
“We are absolutely delighted to announce that TowneBank—known for serving others and enriching the lives of the communities they serve—is partnering with the N.C. Folk Festival and ArtsGreensboro to present this year’s event in downtown Greensboro,” Grossmann said.
The Folk Fest is scheduled for Sept. 6-8.
Townebank will open its first bank in Greensboro in September on Green Valley Road.
