Triad Goodwill says the generous gift is from a musically inclined donor in Greensboro. The instrument is a vintage 1983 Daion Power Mark X-B Bass Guitar made in Japan in the world renowned Matsumoku factory in the early 1980's. It is in excellent condition and has an ash body with a satin natural finish.

The guitar will be auctioned off online and is available for bidding through mid-morning on Wednesday, January 30. It has a starting price of around $580, but Triad Goodwill says these guitars have sold for as much as $1,000 and higher in the past.

The proceeds from the auction will go toward providing free and low-cost job training and placement services to people seeking employment in our community.
