THOMASVILLE, NC - A fugitive charged with assault by strangulation was arrested in Thomasville after escaping from West Virginia.
Micheal Hall was arrested in Thomasville Thursday after Thomasville police got a tip from West Virginia authorities that he might be in the area. The police department found Hall on the 200 block of Center Street.
Hall, 29, removed an ankle monitoring device and left West Virginia on charges of Assault by Strangulation and Attempted Second Degree Sexual Assault.
While searching for Hall, officers located a small marijuana plant and drug paraphernalia inside the home. Drug charges are pending.
Hall got a $1,000,000 secured bond and is in Davidson County Jail.
