10 saved, 13 displaced after apartment fire on Ferrell Heights Ct. in Winston-Salem

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem Fire Department firefighters are responding to a residential fire on 100 Ferrell Heights Ct. 

Helmet camera video from the Winston-Salem Fire Department shows flames shooing out of the building and through the roof.

Residents of the apartment complex are currently being evacuated. 

So far, 10 people have been rescued from the burning building and the Red Cross is assisting 13 displacements.

No injuries are reported at the time of reporting. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
