Three people arrested and charged with kidnapping Winston-Salem teenagers

Winston-Salem Police two men and a teenager were arrested for forcing two teenagers into a car and robbing them.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — UPDATE: Police arrested two men and a teenager in relation to this crime. 20-year-olds Jashawn Spruill and Laiere Liggins were both arrested and are facing multiple charges of kidnapping and robbery. Both of them had their bonds set at $350,000. The third suspect is a 16-year-old.

Winston-Salem Police are searching for a suspect after they say two teenagers were robbed and kidnapped.

Police said they responded to the Salem Crest Apartments around 12:30 a.m. Monday for a reported kidnapping and armed robbery. 

Officers learned a 14-year-old and 17-year-old were forced into a car in the 1400 block of E. 10th Street and robbed.

Thankfully, the two teens were found unharmed in the 700 block of Salem Crest Circle.
