WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools bus crashed into a neighborhood entrance sign and brick barrier near Meadowlark Drive in Winston-Salem Tuesday morning.
The district says no students were on board at the time of the crash around 8:15. The driver requested EMS, although her injuries aren't life-threatening. The bus had just left Meadowlark Middle School to drop off students.
It's not known how the crash happened.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating.
