Woman Crashes Into Burlington Dunkin' Donuts, Causes Over $30K in Damage: Police

Police say the crash caused about $25,000 worth of damage to the business and $6,500 worth of damage to the two vehicles involved.

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A woman drove into a Dunkin' Donuts restaurant in Burlington Sunday night, causing roughly $30,000 worth of damage.

Krisha Veni Yaddi, 28, accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and drove into another parked car and then the restaurant according to police. The accident happened when Yaddi was trying to park her 2012 Toyota Camry. 

The crash happened at 2526 South Church Street around 7:18. Police say the crash caused about $25,000 worth of damage to the building and $6,500 worth of damage to the two vehicles involved. Store management said there was damage to the windows. There were no injuries and the restaurant is still open for business. Alcohol or drugs weren't factors and no charges were filed.
