GREENSBORO, N.C. - A woman who was found dead outside the Home Depot on Elm-Eugene Street likely died of a drug overdose, according to Greensboro Police.

Police say someone saw the body and called 911 on Saturday.

According to a release from GPD, the woman had a history of drug use, and was treated with NARCAN earlier this month. NARCAN is an opiate antidote used to revive someone experiencing a drug overdose.

Police say a toxicology test will be performed and the results could take up to 90 days.

Police identified the woman and notified the family. Investigators say there are no indicators her death is a homicide.
