6 states voted Tuesday in crucial Democratic primaries. Here are the results so far.

During the Democratic primaries on March 10, 352 delegates were up for grabs.

WASHINGTON — Voters in 6 states from Washington to Mississippi headed to the polls Tuesday. 352 delegates were up for grabs. Democrats Abroad will also conclude their week-long primary with an additional 13 delegates at stake.

In the race for the 1,991 delegates needed to win the nomination, Joe Biden was leading the delegate count over Bernie Sanders 823-663, according to an Associated Press allocation. But votes were still being counted both for Tuesday's contests and the March 3 Super Tuesday primaries.

Here are how many delegates were at stake Tuesday.

Michigan

Projected Winner: Joe Biden

  • 125 delegates

Washington state

Projected Winner: Too early to call

  • 89 delegates

Missouri

Projected Winner: Joe Biden

  • 68 delegates

Mississippi

Projected Winner: Joe Biden

  • 36 delegates

Idaho

Projected Winner: Joe Biden

  • 20 delegates

North Dakota

Projected Winner: Too early to call

  • 14 delegates

These same states will be holding primaries in the Republican race as well, with all expected to go to President Donald Trump. He will not win enough delegates Tuesday to reach the 1,276 mark to become the nominee. That will come next week when Florida, Illinois and Ohio vote.
