EASLEY, SC (WSPA) - A South Carolina police department is investigating after a hair salon was vandalized.

Investigators with the Easley Police Department told CBS Affiliate WSPA the Rosa's Hair Salon.

The news crew saw the words "Go back to Mexico and take drug cartel murder culture with you," and "Go back to Mexico," spray painted in white and red all over the building.

No one is sure if the vandals know this, but the salon owner, Rosa Cabrera is originally from Cuba. Cabrera told WSPA she has lived in South Carolina for 28 years, and has owned the salon for 20 years.

Cabrera said all three walls of the building -- which sits on the corner of the strip mall -- were vandalized, and the front door window was reportedly smashed.

People in the community are not letting her go through this alone. She said they have offered free services to get it cleaned.

A local pressure washing business, All American Pressure Washing, has volunteered to pressure wash the spray paint off of the building for free.

We're told others in the community have stopped by to offer support to Cabrera and condemn racism and hatred.

Cabrera told the station she's offering a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest.
