The Wyndham Championship is celebrating 79 years in Greensboro. Some of the best golfers from around the world come to compete, and folks from around the triad and around the world come to watch.
But it's not all about long drives and birdie putts. The Wyndham is self-proclaimed biggest party in the triad. So there's plenty to do if you're not a golf aficionado.
If you take a look at the map, you can find all sorts of spots where you and whole family can hang out. Let's take you through a few of them.
Right near the entrance is the Harris Teeter Kid's Zone. It has bungee jumping, rock climbing, and even inflatable slides. But that's not all. Magicians, musicians, and wild animals all visit too in various kid-friendly performances.
Getting a little closer to the course is "Expo Row". Businesses from around the triad set up shop here. You can get a bite to eat, or buy some new golf gear.
All the way on the other side of the course is the Wyndham Beach. This is a sand trap you might actually enjoy getting stuck in. It's right across the lake from the hole 15, 16, and 17.
