$10 Dog and Cat Adoption Special at Burlington Animal Services

The $10 adoption special begins August 20 and ends September 1. Cat adoption fees will remain at $10 through September 21.

Lace is a spayed female. The shelter thinks she is a little over a year old. She has been at the shelter since June.

BURLINGTON, N.C. -- Find a four-legged friend to add to the family for only $10.

Burlington Animal Services is having a "Dog Days of Summer Pet Adoption Special" to help shelter pets find a loving home.

The $10 adoption fees begin August 20 and end September 1. Regular adoption fees are $90 for dogs and will resume Monday, September 3. Cat adoption fees will stay at $10 through September 21.

If you can't adopt a pet, consider fostering which helps the shelter free up critical kennel space. The shelter provides the pet food and any necessary medical care.
