COLUMBUS, Ga. (AP) -- A gynecologist who was already charged with sexually assaulting a patient earlier this month faces new chargesinvolving a second woman. Police arrested 53-year-old Doctor Eric A. Buffong yesterday on charges of sexual battery and aggravated sodomy. Police Major Russell Traino says the second woman, a 38-year-old former Columbus resident, went to police after reading of Buffong's first arrest on August 3rd. Police Sergeant Roderick Graham says the woman claims that on June 23rd, 2003, Buffong inappropriately touched her and performedoral sex on her. Before his second arrest yesterday, Buffong had been out on bond after pleading innocent to charges of raping a 40-year-old patient.
