Pentagon Releases Fighter Jet Footage of Mysterious UFO Encounter

Recently released video from the Pentagon is making people second guess whether there should be a stronger investigation into U.F.O.s. The video comes from an incident in 2004 and was studied by the Pentagon through a secret program, the New York Times reported.

Do you believe in aliens?

Whether or not you do, the real question is would you want our government spending millions looking for them?

According to the New York Times, between 2007 and 2012, the Pentagon ran a secret investigation into U.F.O.s. Defense officials told the Times that the program ended in 2012. It had been run in secrecy by a military intelligence official, Luis Elizondo, on the fifth floor of the Pentagon’s C Ring, deep within the building’s maze.

The program cost federal taxpayers $22 million from late 2008 through 2011, according to contracts obtained by the newspaper that showed the funds were used for management of the program.

But recently released video from the Pentagon is making people second guess whether there should be a stronger investigation into U.F.O.s.

Cmdr. David Fravor and Lt. Cmdr. Jim Slaight were on a routine training mission in San Diego when they encountered something a mysterious object. Audio captured during the incident shows the pilot's confusion about the unidentified object:

"Look at that thing! It's rotating."

"It is [expletive] going on, bro."

"There's a whole fleet of them. Look on the S.A."

"My gosh."

"They are all going against the wind. The wind is 120 miles to the west."

"Look at that thing, dude."

According to the New York Times, the two pilots recently recounted their experience in an interview saying the object accelerated like nothing they had ever seen.
