Hoop It Up: 2018 Frank Spencer Classic is Rolling in Winston-Salem

High schools are battling on the hardwood for the 2018 Frank Spencer Basketball Title.

WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- If you're looking for something fun indoors head over the Lawrence Joel Coliseum for the basketball. 

The Frank Spencer Holiday Classic Basketball Tournament started Wednesday and runs through Friday.

Friday's Championship Games

Pepsi Bracket:  No. 1 East Forsyth 59  No. 3 Mount Airy 47 (F)

Myers Tire Bracket:  No. 4 Parkland 78   No. 2 Mount Tabor 62  (F)

Thursday's Pepsi Bracket Semifinals:

No. 1 East Forsyth vs. No. 5 North Forsyth: East Forsyth wins 57-42

No. 2 Atkins vs. No. 3 Mount Airy:  Mt. Airy wins 74-63 

Thursday's Myers Tire Bracket Semifinals:

No. 1 WS Prep vs. No. 4 Parkland: Parkland wins 69-50

No. 3 Reynolds vs. No. 2  Mount Tabor:  Mt. Tabor Wins 49-48

Day One Highlights

 (1) East Forsyth vs. (8) Carver:  East Forsyth wins 50-40

(2) Atkins vs. (7) South Stokes:  Atkins wins 62-32

(3) Mount Airy vs. (6) North Surry:  Mount Airy wins 46-36

Semifinal games will be played Dec. 27 at LJVM Coliseum, starting with the Myers Tire Bracket games at 4 p.m. The Pepsi Bracket semifinal matchups start at 7 p.m. Consolation games will take place at either West Forsyth or Parkland High Schools.

The Championship games will be played at LJVM Coliseum on Dec. 28.
