Four Piedmont Triad high school basketball teams reached the pinnacle Saturday by winning state championships.

The Southwest Guilford boys' team completed a perfect season in a 67-60 victory against Burlington Williams in the 3A championship in Chapel Hill. The Cowboys got a double double from Keyshaun Langley, who finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Jayden Turner capped the night off with a big-time jam as Southwest finished the year 32-0. Christian Martin's sister, Taylor, accepted the Sportsmanship award on Christian's behalf ahead of the game. Christian was seriously hurt in the region final. 

Southeast Guilford's girls' team beat Cuthbertson 55-49. 

The West Forsyth girls team got 29 points off seven 3-pointers from Callie Scheier to top nearby Southeast Raleigh 47-36 at Reynolds Coliseum. 

Bishop McGuiness won the boys 1A crown by beating Henderson Collegiate 55-54. Andrew Budzinski hit the game-winning free throw with 0.7 seconds left.  

East Surry's girls' team fell to Pamlico County 62-55.
