CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers announced Thursday that the team has re-signed tackle Daryl Williams to a one-year contract.

Williams was limited to one game during the 2018 season due to a knee injury, but earned second-team AP All-Pro honors in 2017. Williams played 100 percent of the offensive snaps in 2017 and was a key member of an offensive line that cleared running lanes for the Panthers to rank fourth in the NFL with 131.4 average rushing yards per game.

A four-year veteran, Williams originally entered the NFL in 2015 when he was drafted by Carolina in the fourth round (102nd overall) out of Oklahoma. For his career, he has played in 40 games with 29 starts.
