MARTINSVILLE, Va.-- Spring is here but don't tell winter that. The winter season has yet to concede to spring and for the second time in a week has caused snow closings and delays.

Sunday, the Martinsville Speedway owners postponed the STP 500 until Monday at 2pm. Owners of the speedway also known as the 'Half Mile of Mayhem' said they were hopeful they race would happen, but they lost the battle to weather.

So what did drivers do when a snow storm postponed the race? All sorts of things apparently. Here are some of their shenanigans we found on Social Media. #HalfMileOfSnohem

Bubba Wallace Jr. post a picture of himself on a snow-covered track Saturday night with the caption: Tower, we have lost the track. That line also inspired our headline!

Driver JJ Yeley got a photo of the pace car after it slid off the track almost taking out the porta potties he tweeted with hashtag #crappyday.

Driver Greg Ives tweeted a panoramic photo of the track saying the snow reminded him of when he drove on ice. He joked that his car might need studs for the Martinsville race.

Bubba Wallace also posted a picture of Ricky Stenhouse Jr. going on top of what looks like an RV, but we're not sure what exactly he was doing besides coming in clutch as the caption says.

We later found this post from Ricky Stenhouse Jr. about cleaning his satellite dish on top of his RV so he could watch Supercross Live.

Saturday as it was snowing Denny Hamlin tweeted video the snow without a caption only a snowflake emoji.

Josh Hamilton tweeted video of the snow. His groundbreaking caption: 'It's snowing'.

Kasey Kahne tweeted 'cold night in Martinsville. Turning white around here.'

Sports writers got in on the snow fun. Jeff Gluck posted photos of a snowman outside the main stands. No one has claimed responsibility for the mini snowman.

Reid Spencer with NASCAR Wire Service posted a picture of tires in the snow with the question: Snow tires?

Now that the race has been postponed until Monday, the drivers have another full day to have fun on social media with the snow.
