RALEIGH, N.C. -- High Point Central High School alumnus Germaine Pratt was named one of four captains for the 2018-2019 NC State University football team Monday.
Pratt joins center Garrett Bradbury, quarterback Ryan Finley, and wide receiver Stephen Louis, as team captains for the new season.
"Being selected as a captain is a real honor because it's voted on by their peers," said NC State head coach Dave Doeren. "These four guys personify the meaning of 1Pack1Goal and the standards that we embrace as a program. I've proud of them for the leadership they've shown and the respect they've earned from their coaches and teammates."
NC State starts the season Saturday, Sept. 1 at home against James Madison University. Kickoff is set for noon.
