HIGH POINT, N.C. -- C.J. Lee has been named the new varsity boys basketball coach at Wesleyan Christian Academy, the school announced Wednesday.
"I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to serve as the next leader of the Wesleyan Christian Academy varsity boys basketball program," Lee said in a written statement from Wesleyan. "God has opened a door for my wife and I to move to North Carolina and continue to work in industries we are passionate about and feel purposed to serve. I look forward to building relationships with the current roster, staff, administration, and community."
Lee spent the past four years as an assistant coach at Marist College in New York after spending four years on John Beilein's staff at the University of Michigan. Lee also played at Michigan from 2006 to 2009 and was a team co-captain his senior year.
Lee replaces former Wesleyan Christian Academy head coach Keith Gatlin who has accepted an assistant coaching position on Tubby Smith's staff at High Point University.
