I-40 east lanes near downtown Greensboro reopen following issue with tractor-trailer

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Eastbound lanes of I-40 near S. Elm Eugene Street in Greensboro have reopened following an issue with a broken-down tractor-trailer. 

It happened shortly before 2 p.m. near Exit 221. Guilford Metro 911 said the tractor-trailer was the only vehicle involved. No one was injured.
