GREENSBORO, NC -- We dodged severe storms, but rain will continue overnight. The WFMY News 2 Weather Team is tracking it, and says most of it will be winding down Friday morning.
Heavy rain mixed with some lightning from time to time Thursday evening. It's still possible to pick up a few rumbles of thunder through tomorrow morning. Showers will be tapering off through as we start the day on Friday.
Dry air will be moving in quickly, and skies will clear nicely for Friday afternoon, leading us toward a dry weekend of weather.
