Hurricane Isaias | More than 350,000 power outages, fires, possible tornado damage reported in coastal North Carolina

The coastal counties experiencing the most outages include: New Hanover, Brunswick, Onslow, Pender, Carteret, Bladen, Sampson, and Duplin counties.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — More than 350,000 people are without power as Hurricane Isaias moved through North Carolina late Monday night.

The coastal counties experiencing the most outages include: New Hanover, Brunswick, Onslow, Pender, Craven and Carteret counties.

Hurricane Isaias made landfall on Ocean Isle Beach at 11:10 p.m. Monday. The hurricane brought heavy flooding across the Carolinas. 

It also brought wind damage and possible tornadoes.

In Bald Head Island crews cleaned up downed trees from a possible tornado.

The hurricane also sparked multiple fires in Ocean Isle Beach and a condo fire in Surf City Beach.
