3 Things To Know About Hurricane Dorian

The storm is gaining strength as it heads toward Florida. Cell phone providers and theme parks are planning while the first all-female flight crew monitors the storm

As Hurricane Dorian makes it's way toward the Florida coastline, the state is locking down and getting a plan in place for the storm. Here are the 3 Things To Know about Dorian.

1. Cell Phone Companies Are Putting A Plan In Place

AT&T, T-Moible and Verizon will waive fees and offer free talk and text to people in Florida next week. They are also sending repair teams to the area to put up mobile cell towers to help with service after the storm.

2. Theme Parks Are Offering People A Chance To Change Plans

If you were supposed to spend Labor Day Monday at a Florida theme park, that may need to change. With the current forecast in place you can call Disney, Universal, Legoland and Seaworld and they'll help you re-schedule your trip free of charge. Some parks will even refund the cost of your ticket.

3. The First All-Female Flight Crew Is Monitoring The Hurricane

Keeping an eye on Dorian from the sky is an all-female flight crew. For the first time, three women made of the team scouting the storm.
